Glorious morning!
I would like to honor Charlie Kirk in this article and lead with this quote,
“Follow your passion. It will lead to your purpose”
I did not know much about Charlie kirk other than he was an advocate for the republican party AND a man of God. I also knew he was not afraid to stand in the convictions of his heart. His assasination is right up there with Martin Luther king and JFK, Malcolm X and President Lincoln and Jesus Christ. His assasination touched so many hearts around the world and left a heaviness inside.

I believe that heaviness is really our soul not only being affected by the light of truth that was dimmed but also our soul being prompted for a call to action. That action can be anything good. We can pray, we can re-assess what is important in our lives, we can evaluate where we want to go and what we want to do going forward. Charlie Kirk knew exactly what he wanted to do and was led by his passion. Whether people agreed with him or not is irrelevant. He had just as much of a right to live his life according to what he felt and believed as anyone else on the planet.

Charlie did not refuse to talk with anyone who disagreed with him and was always open for discussion even if they disagreed with him 100 percent. It takes courage to follow your passion, especially when you are following your passion in the public eye and have haters disagreeing with you. Charlie knew the risk of that and pushed forward anyway. He would not compromise who he was and refused to quiet his truth and although he paid the ultimate price, I think he wouldn't have changed a thing. Sound familiar?

Christ’s convictions were absolute. He changed the entire world and it is STILL changing the world 1000’s of years later, and for the better I may add. Yes it was a dark day on September 10th, but the light that is being exposed and expressed by the millions of souls that are honoring him is similar to Jesus. I can only imagine the momentum this is going to produce for the betterment of humanity. Charlie has most of the world listening to their soul, feeling their feelings, and igniting their inner passions and truths to no longer stay silent about them.

In Matthew 5:15-16 it says “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that enter the house.” “ Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” We are meant to express our inner light ( truth ) and share it with humanity. The select few who are too miserable to go within and only choose to focus on extinguishing other peoples light will have their day with the Lord. The best thing we can do is to follow our passion and fulfill our purpose. Focusing on the darkness of that day will never be helpful for humanity and only add to the darkness. No thank you!. When we focus on the light so we can shine on humanity and when we do that it can only expand in the most beautiful and profound ways.

Christ lived by example and encouraged followers to be patient, kind and forgiving and to love each other as he loved them. From what I can see, Charlie did his personal best to do just that. Charlie, a man I never met, touched my heart, Charlie a man I never met stirred my compassion,Charlie a man I never met got me thinking about my life again and what REALLY matters. Charlie, a man I never met, is now still living in a piece of my heart. Charlie makes me think of Christ and that is a good thing. Dear Charlie Kirk, you certainly did not die in vain. Thank you for your contribution to humanity. Peace be with you, Dawn
