Unity Is The Greatest Superpower

Glorious morning!
This morning I will dive into a really important quote, in fact one of the most important ones so far. The quote is by Pricilla Shirer.
“ Unity does not mean sameness, it means oneness. “
Pricilla Shirer was born in 1974. She is an American author, motivational speaker, actress and a christian media personality.
The reason I believe this quote is important is because it speaks to a truth deep inside of me. The truth that we are all one. At our core we are all the same, but in this physical life we all share, we exhibit different talents, strengths and weaknesses. The differences we share makes it clear to me that we need each other, hence unity is vital. If I am not mechanically inclined, and my car breaks down, it’s safe to say I should seek out someone who is gifted with a natural understanding and drive to fix cars. Let's take it a step further and say I did not have enough money to pay for the repair. I could offer a barter type system of payment, you know, an even exchange of services. Being that I am a Tai Chi Gung teacher, I could offer free Tai chi Gung instruction for a decided amount of time in exchange for his service. That is how humanity survived before the monetary system. That is a way in which unites us as human beings. No matter how you slice it, we need each other.

Helping one another is a dominant need on the planet, given that we all lack in areas that require another person's help. It's what makes this world go around. We are all at different levels of growth. The wisdom-filled elders of the world who have had more life experience than us can offer their wisdom to ones who have not experienced what they have. We can learn from them. We can learn from anyone really. We can learn gratitude from the homeless, we can learn empathy from the children in foster care . How can we become an evolved soul without practice? The main photo I used in the title of this blog is real. The story behind it is real. Although you can't see the man on the ground by the open subway door, he was going to get on the subway when his foot fell through the space between the platform and the subway car itself. When people saw what happened, they immediately gathered to push on the subway car and move it enough for the man to free his leg.

Because there were so many people helping, it was effortless to move it. That picture fills my heart with love just seeing the love and concern they all had for the man in need. Seeing how effortless something can be when humanity unites is proof that we are far more stronger together than we can ever be apart. We need each other to survive and to learn and to remember who we ALL naturally are at our core, Love. If human beings can stop what they are doing in an instant, and let their love drive them to help someone they have never met, imagine how effortless it really would be to change this world in an instant. If we all united all over the world to stop what we were doing at a specific time and drop everything to show love to the person next to us, what would that look like? For every single soul to feel like they are loved and cared for all at the same time. What would that look like? If we can build space stations, we could easily do what I just suggested. It wouldn't even cost a penny.

We need more stories of the one pictured above. We need a 24/7 news good news channel to counteract the morbid news channels who spread the dark side of life. Why would anyone want to do that when it's just as easy to flip the narrative and show the real strength of humanity. The real reasons we are here. The potential of humanity is clear by just a single photo. We need a good news network to remind us of our greatest gift and superpower. LOVE. Do you have trouble opening up your heart to others?
