Do you resit your souls promptings?

Glorious morning!
I would like to expand on a quote from a serious thinker named Carl Jung. I have expanded on his quotes in an earlier insight article that I have written. I find his quotes very thought provoking, today is no exception.
“ Man's task is to become conscious of the contents that press upward from the unconscious”
Here is a bit about the man behind the quote. Carl Jung was born in 1875 and died in 1961. He was a swiss psychiatrist, psychotherapist, and psychologist. He founded the school of analytical psychology. No wonder he has so many profound quotes. Quotes are created from serious reflection and personal revelations from that reflection.
What this quote says to me is that we are constantly growing and how much we grow depends on how much we become conscious, particularly from any suppressed, or forgotten experiences in our lives. I believe our soul , which is pure truth, pushes unconscious things up so we can become aware of these forgotten or suppressed experiences. It is the main function of our soul to help us realize truth. The truth about our life, the truth about who we really are and the truth of why we are here. If you have read the short version of my book Forgiven, I explain and remind people how we forget our eternal brilliance and get lulled by life and forget that very fact. When we forget things, they become unconscious. Those things don’t just go away, they are “ stored away “ in memories. So why is it important to acknowledge the contents that keep pressing upwards from our soul. Expansion. If we are not expanding and growing, we are stuck. When we are stuck our soul can’t perform its function. When our soul is being denied, it isn’t content and will never stop trying to press these things up.
We don't ignore our soul's promptings on purpose, it just gets blocked out by a lot of noise and distractions in life. Raising kids, work, things that get piled on us as we grow from childhood. No wonder why kids are so naturally happy and joyful, they are being run by their soul without interruption. So are dogs and the animal kingdom, they worry for nothing. Worry and fear block out our soul's voice where all answers and wisdom lie. If it naturally happens when we are children to be led by our souls' promptings, then what can we do when our soul gets drowned out by life's responsibilities and pleasure seeking relief that we seem to be always seeking? We need to get back to the childlike ways we once expressed so naturally, that means consciously with our freewill. We need to make the time to remove distractions from the soul and give it time to breath and express itself. When our soul speaks it is always trying to help us remove negative influences that are harming our growth, in our spirit, mind and bodies.
Look at it like this , our soul is the CEO of our life. If the CEO is suffering and not balanced, If its not learning and growing, well, we can't expect our life to run at its best. Making time to hear the unconscious stuff that is coming up for review, can only help us, even if the things coming up for review feel uncomfortable.
In my own life I decided to get serious about why I kept repeating the same issues over and over, and was not learning from them and why I was resisting changing it. Fear. Fear of change. I settled in my relationships to keep the status quo going and not rock the boat because if I did, that would mean I would have to change. Change can be disruptive to our status quo and everyone around us but if it's to get that CEO mentally and spiritually healthy, then it's worth it. It is never worth it when we deny thy self. We cause ourselves way more suffering than we need to when we ignore our soul. When we honor our soul and who we are, we free ourselves to do what we came here to do, we then become an example and inspiration for the people around us to do the same. Our soul will never stop its main purpose, to press things up from the unconscious so we can expand. The evolution of our soul depends on it.
Do you resist when your soul is trying to bring something up for review? Are you swept away from life's many distractions and would like some direction back to your soul? I can help, just make a free discovery call today. Peace be with you, Dawn
